Bala Murugan
I’m Bala Murugan from Vellore, Tamil Nadu. Coming from an agricultural background, I grew up close to nature, but like many middle-class families, circumstances pushed me into a corporate job. For nearly 10 years, I worked hard, upgrading my skills, yet I felt no real progress. Deep inside, I kept asking: What is the true purpose of my life? That search led me to Design for Change (DFC). Initially, I thought design was just about aesthetics, but I soon realized it’s about solving real problems and transforming lives. Beyond design, DFC gave me discipline, clarity, and confidence. As an introvert, I learned to connect, network, and grow. One of my biggest breakthroughs was clearing a 15-year-old debt—something I once thought impossible. With Jagdish’s guidance and consistent goal-setting, it became a reality. Today, I carry a bigger vision: to create an ecosystem that supports mothers and families, empowering them to live with freedom and dignity. - Bala Murugan
